Gratitude and Abundance

Gratitude and Abundance

Abundance, as a first thought to most, is feeling financially or materially wealthy. But what about feeling abundant in character, in friendship, in health, in love?

When we put even the smallest amount of effort into feeling gratitude for what currently have, the way we look at the world around us can change in a big way.

We can cultivate a sense of abundance by appreciating the body we have right now as it continues to carry us on our journey. Sometimes after an injury or ailment, which can reset our physical progress and slow down our pace, we find ourselves reminiscing on what we could do in the past, instead of feeling grateful for the healing ability and the current state of progression. On our mats, we get to oil these machines as we move and breathe and then ask our bodies to continue on and fulfill our duties and responsibilities as it physically and spiritually holds and creates for us daily.

We can feel gratitude for a mind that asks questions, absorbs and remembers, finds humor, and makes us dig deep.

Continuing to search around and within the depths of our hearts, finding a way to come back to love, kindness and forgiveness in a world full of judgment, division and anger can provide just the amount of abundance we need to feel content and fulfilled.

"Abundance is not something we acquire; it is something we tune into." -Wayne Dyer
